The Creator
Who are we?

DAN Â JONES - FOUNDER, PRODUCER, CAM OPERATOR and EDITOR

I'm the person behind Cullen Jones Creative, and the one usually found behind a camera, in an edit suite, or sat sniffing and being snobby over a good coffee (and cherry bakewell).

The name Cullen Jones Creative comes from my son, Arthur Allan Cullen-Jones. A daily reminder of why I wanted to build something meaningful and create work I'm proud to put my name (and his) to.

Over the last decade, I've been lucky enough to work across almost every part of the production process. I've directed shoots, filmed documentaries, edited hundreds of commercial films, produced national marketing campaigns, lead creative teams, and delivered content for some incredible brands, charities and organisations. Along the way I've worked with businesses including Microsoft, Nestlé, Bupa, NHS Trusts, Leeds United, England Football, Manchester United, Pizza Hut and many more, creating everything from TV and social campaigns to podcasts, recruitment films and internal communications.

One of the things I love most about what I do is that no two projects are ever the same.
Â
One week summed it all up for me. I spent one day filming with Gareth Southgate inside the England dressing room, and the next I was in Bridlington covering a world record attempt for the world's largest cardboard Trojan horse.

For me, every project deserves the same level of creativity, care and attention to detail.

What really drives me isn't the cameras, drones or editing software (although I do enjoy the gadgets). It's the people. Every business has a story worth telling, and my job is to uncover it and turn it into something that feels genuine, engaging and memorable.

Having spent years working inside agencies as an editor, producer and creative lead, I've learnt that the best work happens when clients feel part of the process.Â
Â
That's why I like to keep things simple. No unnecessary jargon, no overcomplicated production speak—just honest conversations, good ideas and a collaborative approach from our first chat through to the final edit.

Whether you need a cinematic brand film, engaging social content, event coverage, a documentary, or a full campaign, my goal is always the same: to create films that don't just look great they connect with people, tell your story, and make a lasting impression.

If you've got an idea, or even just the beginning of one, I'd love to hear it.
Â
Let's make something brilliant together, or have an overpriced coffee and cake to chat it through at least.

HANNAH RACHEL - PHOTOGRAPHER

A little bit about me.
As you’ve probably guessed I love anything creative. I’ve been hooked on photography since I was 15 years old, taking photos on my grandpas old film camera - Studied it for a total of 5 years, then after I graduated I went out into the wild to work on many different shoots and now here I am!Â
I go out for food maybe once or twice a week, and sticky toffee pudding is my absolute fave on the menu and I have it almost every time!Â
I try to spend time with my close friends and family as often as I can, and go to the gym! Maybe a few runs during the week and a nice long walk in the countryside is always a great shout after a hectic week. Generally just being out in nature and greenery is definitely my favourite pass time.Â
Â
My experience

Weddings - I have photographed over 20 weddings, with at least 2 per month. Organising pre wedding/engagement shoots, meeting each client in person and helping with organising their day. One of the things I take pride in, is my bridal photography as this is the start of the day where your day matters the most, getting ready with your bridesmaids and loved ones sharing that beautiful experience together and I turn this into a fairytale story.Â
Gig photography: Photographing live gigs for well-known publications, such as NME and Art Rocker, with double page spreads for headlining artists. I have been a photographer for Leeds festival, brainwashed and Boom town. In addition to this, I have been on tour with artists such as Alexisonfire, and various support bands. As well as the live events, I have also taken part as an art director organising band promo photography; shooting album art work that has sold in HMV, jumbo records and Crash.Â
Promo work - I have worked on various campaigns, the most recent one was shooting ex footballer Fraizer Campbell and Duane Holmes promoting a new branded product for a client. Modelling in Bolston Moor Farm shop, directing each shot.Â
Personal projects - I dabble in a little bit of stop motion, using Lego and any other interesting fun objects, creating story boards and filming each clip.Â
I love to be creative!Â
But enough about me, I’d love to hear about you!
